Julie Lasky (born 1960) is editor of the (Change Observer ) channel of the Design Observer website. She is also Deputy Editor of the New York Times (NYT) Home section, and writes the column ''The Details'' in the NYT on new design. Lasky has previously been editor-in-chief of ''I.D.'' magazine (2002–2009), editor-in-chief of ''Interiors'' magazine (1998–2001) and managing editor of ''Print'' magazine.〔Bryony Gomez-Palacio and Armin Vit, ''Women of Design: Influence and Inspiration from the Original Trailblazers to the New Groundbreakers'', Cincinnati, Ohio: How Books, 2008.
